About Coplay, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Coplay is a borough found six miles northwest of Allentown in Lehigh County. About 3,200 people called the community home in 2013, down from nearly 3,400 residents at the time of the 2000 census. This borough is part of the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania and is served by the Whitehall-Coplay School District. Older students who live in the community will finish their secondary education at Whitehall High School.

There are a few interesting things to see and do in the Coplay area.  The Coplay Cement Company Kilns are a famous landmark in the area and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1980. Saylor Park, which is where the cement kilns can be viewed, offers visitors outdoor recreational opportunities, and Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays is another popular destination.

Other attractions are located a short drive away in nearby Allentown. The city is home to one of the MLB’s minor league teams – the Lehigh Valley IronPigs – which plays at Coca Cola Park. The Allentown Symphony Orchestra puts on number of concerts throughout the year at Allentown Symphony Hall. Additionally, art fans will love a trip to the city and to the Allentown Art Museum, which is home to over 13,000 different pieces of unique art.

Coplay weather conditions vary dramatically with the changing seasons. Summers are hot and humid, with daily highs reaching the 80s or 90s. To stay cool, most residents invest in reliable, energy efficient central air conditioning systems, but they’ll only be needed for a few months. Even more importantly, residents will want to invest in a high-quality gas or electric furnace to keep home interiors comfortable during the frigid winter months. With average daily highs in the low- to mid-30s, proper climate controls are a necessity to protect Coplay residents and building structures.
